LISA Ireland

The Irish research community working on the European Space Agency's LISA Mission.

The European Space Agency’s LISA Mission is set to launch in the mid 2030’s. The first ever space-based gravitational wave observatory, LISA will explore the mHz band of the gravitational wave spectrum, which is expected to be richly populated with strong and unique sources, but is as yet totally unexplored.

There is a wide range of LISA-related activity taking place in Ireland, covering topics such as waveform modelling, astrophysics, and instrumentation. LISA Ireland aims to represent this community, promoting Irish LISA research both within Ireland and abroad.
